Hanna Shelest

Hanna has been working as Senior Researcher at the National Institute for Strategic Studies. Odessa Branch. She focuses on Security and Conflict Studies in the Black Sea and Middle East Regions, Peacekeeping and Mediation.

Further, Hanna was teaching at the Odessa National University. Her lectures included problems of the International Relations, seminars on the US-foreign policy and seminars on history of International Relations after 1945.

From 2008 on, she has been Head of the Board of the NGO "Promotion of Intercultural Cooperation". You can find more information about the NGO here.

Hanna is Co-founder and Head of the Organizing Committee of Odessa National University Model United Nations.

Hanna is a Rotary Peace Fellow 2010 and Open World Program Fellow 2011.
