Paul Ivan

Paul works on EU inter-institutional developments at
the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) in Brussels. Founded in
1983, CEPS is among the most experienced and authoritative think tanks operating
in the European Union today.
Paul is also affiliated with the Romanian Center for European Policies
(CRPE), a Bucharest-based EU affairs think tank, where he worked for almost
two years as a researcher on EU external relations and regional security
issues.
He has completed a traineeship in DG External Relations of the European
Commission and the European External Action Service (EEAS) where he was
involved in the EU Association Agreement negotiations with Georgia, Azerbaijan,
Armenia and Moldova.
Paul holds an MSc in International Relations from the London School of
Economics and Political Science (LSE) and bachelor’s degrees in international
relations, European studies and history.
